Background
A B2B distributor updates its PrestaShop catalogue every night from CSV exports of its ERP. The result: sales of out-of-stock products, outdated prices and a team correcting orders by hand.
Approach
A dedicated PrestaShop module listens to ERP events through its API and places them in a message queue. Each update is processed idempotently, automatically replayed in case of error and logged in a dashboard built into the back office. Orders are sent back to the ERP as soon as they are validated.
What the client gets
A catalogue that is reliable at all times, a team freed from manual corrections and a module compatible with PrestaShop 9 for the next migration.
